Bhakti TV Vaikhanas Maharaja at Holland.

Sripad BV Vaikhanas Maharaja was born in the USA in 1950. He is a disciple of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the worldwide Hare Krsna movement. He first met his guru in 1971 in New York after having enrolled as a monk in the local Hare Krishna temple. Soon after he accepted initiation from Srila Prabhupada and served him in various capacities for many years.

In 1997, he met Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja and accepted him as his instructing spiritual master. In 2004, Srila Narayana Maharaja awarded him sannyasa in the holy city of Vrindavana, the place of Lord Krishna's birth. In 2003, he went to South India and opened a temple in Bangalore where he is still based. He also travels and teaches around the world, in China and other Asian countries, Europe, and the USA.

In this lecture, Vaikhanas Maharaja explains how to deepen one's connection with their guru, after he has departed from this world. We must study the example and teachings of the guru and try to align ourselves with, and fulfill the inner desire of our spiritual teachers.
